Professionalisierung von Wirtschaftspädagogen im einphasigen Masterstudium „Wirtschaftspädagogik“ an der WU-Wien

Abstract

Ausgehend von der Darstellung  des strukturellen Umfeldes der Wirtschaftspädagogik am Standort Wien wird exemplarisch aufgezeigt, wie durch eine Verknüpfung von Theorie und Praxis  eine Professionalisierung wirtschaftspädagogischer Handlungskompetenz gewährleistet werden kann. Es wird die These vertreten, dass durch die Einführung von Lehrerbildungsstandards eine Theorie-Praxis-Verknüpfung wirksam unterstützt werden kann.  Abschließend wird an Hand des einphasigen Masterstudiums Wirtschaftspädagogik an der WU-Wien aufgezeigt, dass auch in der "Bologna-Architektur" eine Fortsetzung der polyvalenten WIPÄD-Ausbildungstradition möglich ist.

Professionalisation of students in the single-phase business studies and vocational education masters programme at the WU in Vienna

Using the presentation of the structure and context of business studies and vocational education in Vienna as an example, this paper shows how the combination of theory and practice can ensure the professionalisation of vocational competence in the field of business studies and vocational education. The paper advocates the theory that combining theory and practice can be effectively supported by the introduction of standards in teacher education. In conclusion the paper demonstrates, through the example of the single-phase masters programme in business studies and vocational education in Vienna, that a continuation of the polyvalent tradition of training in business studies and vocational education is possible even within the 'architecture' of the Bologna process.
